Head of Marketing at IBM Watson Customer Engagement

Heba Sayed is the Head of Marketing for IBM Watson Customer Engagement Business Unit in Middle East & Africa. In her capacity, she leads the strategy development for her unit as well as the design and implementation of marketing and communications activities that encourage her peer marketers to adopt AI in marketing technologies. Prior to this role, she has led a number of marketing leadership roles at IBM in Egypt and the UAE.

Heba believes she has a cool job, that sits right at the intersection of marketing and technology, and is excited about the rising focus on customer centricity in the Middle East and Africa. Heba is also a public speaker on future of marketing and AI technology and has spoken in the region’s most renowned conferences like Arab Luxury Summit, DubaiLynx Festival of Creativity, Mashable Social Media Day, Watson Summit, ArabNet Digital Summit, MICE Luxury Travel summit amongst many others.

In 2017, Gulf Marketing Review, the leading marketing publications in the Middle East, selected Heba as one of top 40-under-40 marketers in Middle East and North Africa region, in recognition of the role she plays as an active change agent in the world of technology regionally.

She holds a Bachelors in Business Administration, with concentration in Marketing, from the American University in Cairo.
